Erin Healy

Erin has a technical background in marine science and water resources, and brings 30 years of experience in technical analysis and the management of complex, high profile projects to evaluate environmental impacts and develop creative solutions to environmental challenges.

As director of ICF’s offshore wind program and practice area, Erin is responsible for oversight of the ICF environment and planning offshore wind portfolio. She has supported the offshore wind industry in the U.S. for more than 15 years as both a consultant and a member of a developer permitting team. She has served in both management and technical roles for technology evaluations, environmental impacts assessments, NEPA documents, socioeconomic analyses, stakeholder engagement, public communications and outreach, and permit submittals.

Erin has a very strong understanding of BOEM regulatory procedures, the technical information required to meet permitting requirements, and the socioeconomic and environmental issues of concern that must be addressed to successfully develop a project. From her experience as a member of an offshore wind developer permitting team, Erin also understands the challenges that developers face in successfully developing U.S. projects. She has been involved in contract management, stakeholder engagement, resolution of high profile technical issues as well as state, federal and local permitting.
