Amanda Vargo is a managing consultant for ICF’s Climate, Energy, and Transportation division. With over seven years of experience, she is dedicated to shaping an equitable and resilient future through her work in climate risk identification and resilience planning. Amanda is a recognized leader and innovator within ICF, receiving the 2020 ICF Lucky Award for embodying ICF’s values through her work and her character.

Amanda’s expertise encompasses climate vulnerability and risk assessments, adaptation planning, and effective communication of technical data to stakeholders and decision-makers. Amanda is known for her meticulous quality control and her ability to advance projects with precision and inclusivity, valuing diverse perspectives within her team.

She has built a deep expertise in conducting climate risk assessments and developing tailored adaptation strategies to meet the needs of her clients. Notably, Amanda spearheaded a groundbreaking provincial-scale climate risk assessment for British Columbia and is a significant contributor to several transportation vulnerability assessments and resilience planning efforts for federal, state, and local transportation agencies.

Amanda is instrumental in guiding ICF's clients to seamlessly integrate climate resilience into their core strategic initiatives.
