Baldwin is a licensed professional engineer and power expert with more than 10 years of experience focused on grid reliability and analytics.

Baldwin is power and utility market expert with over a decade of experience in grid reliability, technology, and analytics. He uses communication and project management skills to contribute to achieving objectives and creating value across organizationally diverse teams.

Baldwin began his career in power plant design before focusing on transmission, substation, and distribution planning and design. His breadth of knowledge helped him leverage utility data and software to develop solutions for technical and commercial challenges. With a focus on grid reliability and innovation, he supports grid hardware and software pilot programs.

Earlier in his career, Baldwin worked on initiatives to integrate renewable generation to existing electric infrastructure through data analytics and process improvements. He leverages partnerships for grid solutions and develops automated approaches to provide a more accurate grid representation for clients. His extensive background in utility processes and regulation requirements allows him to produce algorithms that aid in compliance reporting and improve grid reliability.

Baldwin is a licensed professional engineer (PE). He earned his master’s degree in predictive analytics from Northwestern University and his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
